Out of God’s love and will, He created man to have dominion over everything in the sea, including all the resources in the ocean and water bodies. He gave man dominion over the air and everything in the heavenly bodies, even dominion over other planets, as we see today by humans making efforts to take control of space and other planets. He equally gave man dominion over the earth and all the things in the earth, not limited to the natural resources.
Furthermore, the purpose of God is that we should be fruitful and multiply because He blessed us and empowered us for prosperity, dominion, and rulership through His word. That word was with God and that word is God. The same was in the beginning with God. Without Him, there was nothing made that was made. His word said, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called out of darkness into his light” (1 Peter 2:9).
It is very important to get the right concept of who we are and what we are created for. With that foreknowledge, it will help us in the understanding of the secrets of the principles of love and self-empowerment and how to apply them in any area of our life and get the right result.
Kings and Princes
God called us kings and princes, a royal priesthood and peculiar people, and that is who we are, made in his likeness and image. Halleluiah!
From the above Bible verse, we are the chosen people, chosen to function in the purpose and in alignment with our divine nature, for in the nature of God, which is the creation of man in His likeness, and in that likeness, there is no provision for failure, sickness, lack or poverty, neither is there room for fear and defeat. There is no provision for misfortunes because His purpose is that we would show forth the praises of Him who hath called us out of darkness into His marvelous light, which is the praise of Him who created us in His image and after His likeness.
To show forth his praise is to prosper and take dominion, to be fruitful and multiply. God said unto us, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
This literally means to prosper and be in good health even as your soul prospereth, as it is stated in the book of 1 John 3:2. “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in good health, even as thy soul prospereth.”
To be in good health entails bodily health, mental health, emotional health, financial health, marital health, and relationship health, just to mention but a few. Be in good health, which is a way of showing praise of Him who has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light.
