Faith is the key that gives us the entrance into the world of impossibility made possible and grants us access into the world of the divine. “For without faith, it is impossible to please God, for he that must come to God must believe that he is and a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” (Hebrews 11:6).
Thinking big is another word for applied faith, which is believing and acting upon, even though it may not have physically happened.
I remember when I was in college, and I was telling my classmates that after college I would get a good job, a good house, a good car, and live big. Most of them never believed me because they were so used to the system – that it takes a while to secure a job due to the bad economic situation of the country, as well as corruption. But lo and behold, I got a good job, big house, good car, and as I had dreamed, while those who thought that struggling was a part of life, were still struggling.
I got these things and lived well because I was talking in faith, I believed in my heart that God was able to do everything. I trusted that it would all be in my favor and so it was. To my friends, they thought I was talking too big, but today they see and understand. In fact, most of them are my motivation, because they have always asked for the formula I used to overcome all life obstacles.
Faith Can Move Mountains
The word of God encourages us to think like God — think big. The Bible says “…and the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters” (Genesis 1:2). The spirit of God moved and hovered, which means that it covered the entire earth. The Bible didn’t say that the spirit of God was at a station, or was at rest, no! It occupied and was not limited. Thinking big is a way of freeing yourself from your present situation, circumstances, or environment. When you think big, you see beyond the present. You see big, create big and achieve big.
Always remember that the world is big, with about seven billion people. Never limit yourself and don’t let anyone limit you because you have received the spirit of love, of power and sound mind (II Timothy 1:7). Also remember that you can create events and situations through the power of your thoughts. The advantages of thinking positively and staying positive can never be over-emphasized
