No matter your area of calling, what you cannot see today will never become real in your life tomorrow. In order to deliver Abraham’s inheritance to him, God said to him:…”Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed forever.” (Genesis 13:14-15).
Many have received visions from the Lord, but are not able to perceive the extent of the vision. If you are Abraham’s speed, you are called to do the works of Abraham. The question then is : “what seest thou? What do you see? What future do you see in the life that God has given you?” The Lord said to Jeremiah, “What seest thou?” and he replied, “I see a rod of an almond tree.” God then said to him, “Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it” (Jer. 1:11-12)
Until You Become a Dreamer
What you are not able to see, God is not committed to perform. “What do you see concerning your life, business, marriage, etc?” God called Jeremiah in chapter 1:5 “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee’ and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” Despite this heavenly call, Jeremiah still had to visualize his assignment. We live in the dreamers’ world. Until you become a dreamer, no matter how heavenly your call or vision, it will be limited. That’s why this article is called the law of imagination.
I’ve often said that I’m not surprised at where we are today; I would have been surprised if we hadn’t gotten here because I was walking in its reality many years before they began to manifest. I was walking in the reality of my future long before they materialized. What you see in the invisible has become visible!
A dream is a spiritual requirement for creating your desired future. Your sanctified dreams about your calling determine its ultimate fulfillment. If you can dream big dreams from scriptures, though your beginning be very small now, yet your latter end shall be greatly increased (Job 8:7).
A dream transport you to the reality of your future before you arrive there. Life dreams are essential for the fulfillment of life goals. The future you cannot see, you will never live in the reality of it, as a dream is the mental picture of your future. Even God acknowledged the power of imagination.
“And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them which they have imagined to do.” (Genesis 11:6)
Your Imagination Determines Your Destination.
Your imagination determines your destination. The Bible says, “For as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he” (Prov. 23:7). What you think determines what you take. Whatever is too big for your mind is too big for your hands. Whatever your mind cannot handle, your hand may never realize. Whatever becomes of your tomorrow begins in your mind today. Some people are so busy thinking poverty that there is no way they can mistakenly stumble into prosperity. They think so much of poverty that it becomes their natural companion.
My Bible says in Proverbs 22:29: “Seest thou a man diligent in his business? He shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men”.
By this scriptural discovery, I’m sure that a commitment to my task, qualifies me to sit before Kings. If I remain diligent and productively committed to my task, I know that I have a future of royalty. Also, I can dream of an open heaven in the light of prosperity. To walk in the reality of kingdom prosperity, then you must first walk in the reality of covenant practice by doing your part, which then commits God to do His part. “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this,” says the LORD of hosts, “if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows. (Malachi 3:10).
If you want to avoid shame in your life, study and work. You can’t be sleeping all day and expect to be enthroned. No! When you understand what God is saying and you line up yourself with them, then you have committed His integrity to make it happen. “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away”. (Matthew 24:35)
