This year, Easter falls on April 16.
Easter customs vary across the Christian world and include sunrise services, family gatherings, decorating Easter eggs (symbols of the empty tomb), egg hunting, the Easter Bunny and Easter parades. There are also various traditional Easter foods that vary regionally.
In my life, I routinely spend time on three continents (Africa, Europe and North America) and I’ve enjoyed observing local Easter customs.
So, in the spirit of contributing to a greater understanding of Easter in different parts of the world, I’d like to feature the unique Easter meanings and customs from you, which I will present to my global readers.
That means I’d like to hear from you. Please submit your brief responses to the meaning of Easter at the bottom of this page.
We are even offering prizes for the submissions that we’ll feature after Easter.
If you are among the 10 selected submissions, you’ll be the first to receive my new booklet on Love and Self-Empowerment. One will be mailed to your home or office, regardless of where you live in the world. All you need to do is provide your responses below.
My booklet on Love and Self-Empowerment expands upon the principles of my free, one-page download, The Principle of Love And Self-Empowerment, which outlines 10 fundamental principles on how to solve many of life’s basic challenges through practical applications of love. The booklet further details how any person can apply these principles in their daily existence to help bring love, prosperity, good health and abundance into your own life as well as the lives of others in your environment. The booklet is small enough where it can fit in your purse or pocket so that you may carry it with you as a reference for daily living and inspiration.
